Andrew Doquile is CMC’s Financial Planning Director and is driving the transformation of CMC and, as the director of several businesses in the financial services sector, provides the team with a unique style of leadership with deep roots in the industry.
Andrew has been involved in CMC financial planning for the last ten years and has enjoyed the challenge of transitioning the business from a solutions business to a true financial planning/advice business.
He took a more active role behind the scenes in 2017 and 2018, having identified the need to provide clients with greater expertise and consistency. This need corresponded with new ASIC requirements that all representatives attain higher levels of education than previously dictated in order to practice and provide financial advice. This is where the transition from CMC Consulting & Mentoring to CMC Financial Planning took place.
This has taken place with our advice team focusing on building their expertise undertaking further education and being better qualified to provide quality advice.
In 2018 and 2019, CMC Financial Planning has gone through a period of major change and growth, following a restructure of the financial advisory firm and the continued development of its dynamic, expert team of advisers. The passing of our Founder, Chris McCausland, in 2019 after battling illness for a number of years forced us to seek a way forward.
Our new operating model is a successful amalgamation of technical expertise and client relationships – and now combines a wealth of industry experience and advisory expertise.
While the organisation and team have gone through significant change, our way of working hasn’t, and we remain dedicated to continually improving our expertise and capability in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Throughout the transition, the goals of the practice have remained the same – ensuring the sustainability and integrity of the firm and providing effective advice solutions to CMC’s valued clients.
